Judy Manning Awarded the American Cancer Society's Oustanding
Legislative Award
At
the Cobb County Tobacco Use Prevention Coalition's annual meeting,held
at Everett manor
in Smyrna,
Andy Lord, director of Georgia Tobacco initiatives
for the American Cancer Society, served as keynote speaker for the Colaition.
At the meeting, Lord awarded state Reps. Rich Golick (R-Smyrna) and Judy
Manning
(R-Marietta) with the American Cancer Society's Oustanding
Legislative Award for their work last year in addressing public health
issues, especially in the areas of promoting second-hand smoke awareness.
