Dear Representative Manning:

We are pleased to announce that the Georgia Association of Educators Fund For Public Education (GAE-FPE) Committee has endorsed your candidacy for election to the Georgia General Assembly. A campaign contribution in enclosed. Additionally, a flyer announcing our endorsed candidates will be mailed to GAE members.

The GAE endorsement was based on your commitment to continuing the improvement of Georgia’s public schools and the relationship you have established with our organization. GAE members were impressed with your answers on our candidate questionnaire as to how to attract and retain a quality teacher in every classroom, improve student achievement, commitment to reduce class size ratios, improve school safety, improve retirement benefits, make sure that schools and buses are safe and free from violence, continue to increase teacher salaries, and adopt a fair employee evaluation system.

We hope your campaign is successful and have encouraged our members to assist your campaign by becoming volunteers and taking at least five friends and relatives to the polls. We deeply appreciate your commitment to Georgia’s children, educators, and future and look forward to working with you during the 2005 and 2006 legislative sessions on our quest to make Georgia’s public school system a national model.
